Qin is finally making headway in this battle. The combined force of the Hi Shin Unit and the Aka kin force is about to enter the final step of that battle, that is, the skirmish with the general and thus, fans are very hyped about the release of Kingdom Chapter 685.
Hopefully, this will only be a minor opponent in the way of Shin.
It seems that the author chose to skip over the Raido part in this chapter. With Raido getting captured, it is a major issue for Kan ki and something must be done in order to take steps towards winning. But the writer wants us to think about it for a while before he shows us how Kan ki chooses to react.
We have seen Kan ki with a mysterious smile throughout this battle. The tactical genius is heavily on the losing side and yet, he claims that everything is working the way he wants. What is the deal with that?
We believe the upcoming chapters will prove that Kan ki indeed has a plan. We are interested to see how unorthodox it turns out to be.
Ou sen too, has been quiet. He is the chief commander after all and any decision he makes ends up having giant ramifications. So we won’t be able to see his decision until some major change occurs.
Maybe from Kan ki’s side, maybe from Shin’s side – somewhere there must a change before the main general issues an order.
We are nearing a new phase of this Battle of Eikyou arc. This battle has turned out to be an extremely hard one despite the absence of Ri Boku. After all, all these defense mechanisms have been planned out by him.
It will be interesting to see what the next phase holds. General Kochou is the supreme antagonist of this arc. Kingdom 685 will show if he can be reached or not.

Kingdom Chapter 685 Raw Scans
We will be honest – every week when the spoilers are released, we close our eyes and hope that the message ‘no break next week’ shows up at the end. Thankfully, the message appeared this week and we are very happy.
Yasuhisa Hara will be releasing the raw version of Kingdom 685 on 3rd July 2021. Raw version means it will be in Japanese. And of course, the raw scans will be taken from the new Weekly Young Jump issue.
The release of Kingdom manga 685 English translations is being heavily sought. Due to the lack of an original release, a fan version is required. However, the release date is not very convenient. We expect it to arrive within 9th July 2021.
Do not worry, it can be earlier than that but there is a chance that it won’t. It mostly depends on the time invested by the scanlators. More time means better quality scans.

The spoilers for Kingdom Chapter 685 are finally here. All these have been taken from the Kingdom subreddit and are verified.
- HSU notices the Zhao general while approaching their headquarters.
- Suugen notices that the speed of their cavalry has dropped and wonders what has happened.
- Shin has caught up to the front and gets to know that a new enemy has appeared.
- The Zhao general knocks Shin down his horse and when Shin stands up, the Zhao general seems humongous.
- He introduces himself as on of Kochou’s vassals.
- Shin is excited that he got to meet an enemy even before reaching the HQ.
- Shin says that he hoped that the general will run from the battlefield but he stayed to face off against Shin.
- Zhao general says that he has got a golden chance of taking the enemy’s head and he would never let it go.
- Thus the fight between Shin and the new general starts.

Kingdom Manga 685 Discussion:
The man named Aka kin is a strange one. Ten claims that he is either unreliable or a tactical genius.
To us, he definitely strikes as unreliable. He is strong but eccentric and his moves are probably determined by his guts.
But then again, he might be a stickler for the orders. We will find out more about this man in Kingdom chapter 685 spoilers.
Why did Ou hon divide his troops?
Few days earlier, Ou Hon faced an impossible battle. And while he jumped in straight without questioning orders, he made a great tactical call. Knowing that his odds in that battle were low even with Aka Kin there, he chose to make a pincer move.
At least that way, there is something else to fight for, a ray of hope to fight towards.
Yes it did not work out well for the Gyoku Hou unit but it was perfect for the Hi Shin Unit and by extension, it was a sound call for the whole battlefield. Ou Hon made a great decision.
Kingdom 685 raw scans might show us Ou Hon reacting to this. He hasn’t appeared in a while.
What is the deal with Aka Kin?
Aka Kin’s way of battle is not orthodox. He is probably a guy that Kan Ki will welcome into his ranks. Aka Kin watched calmly as he saw the main force get annihilated. He could have helped but it probably would not be successful.
We believe Aka Kin made the call to prioritize the mission over the troops and that is probably something that Ou Hon will appreciate.
Kingdom Chapter 685 raw will show how this eccentric man and his troops help the Hi Shin Unit gain a huge advantage over the Zhao infantry. Despite great numbers, the Zhao are having trouble against this cavalry.
Plus, the surprising move to the forest has actually diverted the Zhao’s attention and it is the perfect chance for Shin to end this skirmish.
What will happen next in this battle?
The Zhao have been cornered. They are surrounded by the enemies. If they retreat, they face Aka Kin. If they climb down, Kyou Kai waits for their blood. So, all they can do is fight on this ground and hope to kill the enemy executives, which are, Shin and Aka Kin.
Their General is finally ready to join the fight himself. He will probably have some elite troops surrounding him.
As for Qin, they have to win this at any cost. This situation is the fruit of a lot of blood and sweat. They must win this. Ten is actually hopeful about their victory as it is tactically extremely sound.
Now, it comes down to Shin to prove himself. We believe Kyou Rei might just shine more here. She is coming up with Denei and might challenge the Zhao General in Kingdom 685 manga spoilers.
