Roger and Whitebeard finally collide and a big fight breaks out between the two. Oden was shocked to see that their swords are not even touching and still generating a force unlike anything.
Oden instantly realizes how strong these two are and how they are on a different league altogether. Roger is overjoyed to see Whitebeard as his long journey will soon be coming to an end because of his life threatening disease.

One Piece Episode 966 Eng Sub Release Date
As we mentioned above, the upcoming One Piece anime episode is on break this week and will not be released this Sunday.
The new release date has been confirmed. You can watch One Piece Episode 966 this Sunday on March 21st, 2021. The English subbed episode will be available to watch on Crunchyroll official website.
Episode 966 is titled “Roger’s Wish! A New Journey”. The episode has been directed by Tasuku Shimaya while it has been written by Tomohiro Nakayama. One Piece manga written and illustrated by Eichiro Oda is used as source material.
All the fans living in United States/Canada can expect the episode to air on 21st March 2021 around 1 A.M Eastern Time.
Fans living in countries like India, Thailand, Philippines can watch the English sub episode around 8 A.M.
Dr. Stone Season 2 Episode 10 will also be airing this week, so don’t forget to watch it.

The title of the upcoming Episode 966 is “Roger’s Wish! A New Journey”.
The last Episode 965 ended with Whitebeard and Roger’s swords clashing. In Episode 966 both pirate groups will start a full fledged fight. The fight will go on for three days and three nights with no one emerging victorious
Roger and Whitebeard are more rivals than enemies. They respect each other’s strength and can also be called friends.
Once the fight ends, the pirate banquet starts where both the pirate groups interact with each other. Shanks and Buggy meet Blackbeard for the first time as both are apprentice pirates on their ships.
Fans will surely love seeing the young Shanks and Buggy. The scenes of Roger and Whitbeard will also be a treat to watch.
Roger has been wanting to meet the samurai from Wano for the last one year and they finally meet. Roger wants to go to the last island of Laughtale and in order to do so, he must find all the four red poneglyphs.
This is when Oden tells him that Kozuki are the one who made the Poneglyph and he is able to read and write those mysterious text. Roger now gets more interested in Oden and asks Whitebeard to loan him for next one year.
Whitebeard gets furious that Roger is asking for one of his crewmates whom he considers a younger brother. But Oden wants to go and asks for one year leave.
This is how the journey of Roger and Oden together begins. They go to various places finding the Poneglyphs, even the sky island Skypiea.
