One of the longest-running anime in history, One Piece is still reigning strong! The latest episodes are covering the Wano Country Arc of the original manga written by Eiichiro Oda. The main plot of One Piece revolves around Monkey D. Luffy.
He gets special powers after eating a devil fruit, and inspired by the legendary pirate, Gol D. Roger, Luffy sets his eyes on the treasure hidden by the pirate that no one has been able to locate.
One Piece initially began in 1999 and is still continuing to air weekly. The upcoming Episode 973 has really excited everyone as we will see the aftermath of Oden and his friends’ sentence!
Along with the nine Scabbards, Oden has already shown his skills against Kaido. But he ended up losing to him and now they are on the brink of death. However, it looks like his determination has not gotten any weaker!

One Piece Episode 973 Release Date and Time:
Episode 973 will be titled “Sentenced to Boil – Oden’s Deadly Hour” and will adapt from Chapter 971 onwards of the original manga.
The episode will be released in Japan first on Sunday, May 9th, 2021 at 9:30 AM JST. We have also made a list of the release date and time of One Piece EP 973 in different regions so that you have a better idea when you can watch.
In the United States, the next episode of One Piece will arrive on Saturday, May 8th at 7 PM PST/PDT. Viewers from European countries will be able to watch the episode at 9 PM CDT on May 8th as well.
One Piece Ep 973 with English Subtitles will also get released shortly after the initial airing. In India, you can watch the episode with subs near 8:30 AM IST on Sunday, May 9th while people in Australia/Melbourne can stream it around 1:30 PM ACDT on the same date.

One Piece Episode 973 English Sub Preview and Spoilers!
In the last episode, Oden and Kaido’s fight finally began. Although Oden was greatly outnumbered by Kaido’s subordinates, he showed why he is called the “Greatest Samurai of Wano”!
During his fight, Shinobu from the Ninja legion also joins him. After they clear out the first wave of enemies, Kaido decides to fight Kozuki Oden himself in his Dragon form. However, the samurai does not feel faltered at all even knowing that just 11 of them were up against thousands of Beast Pirates.
Just as Oden is about to use his deciding attack against Kaido, the Beast Pirates play dirty to get him distracted using his son Momonosuke’s illusion. It was none other than the sly Kurozumi Higurashi.
As a result, the nine scabbards along with Oden are captured. They all get sentenced to death in the public square after 3 days. But Oden has still not given up and offers the authority to decide for a set amount of time, surviving which Oden and his allies who make it out alive will be set free.
In One Piece Ep 973, we will finally see the aftermath of Oden’s offer. Surviving in a hot boiling pot made for execution is definitely not something easy. How much time do you think Kaido will allot?
Shinobu was also released as Oden denied having any connection with her. She knows the truth about Oden’s actions and might reveal his true intentions to the citizens! Will the people of Flower Capital recognize Oden as a hero?
