Currently, Black Clover is in the Spade Kingdom arc with a three-way battle unfolding. Zenon has decimated the Golden Dawn headquarters, killed half the members and captured their leader.
Vanica has infiltrated Heart Kingdom with her followers spread across the country. Dante has come searching for Yami and is currently fighting Asta and the Black Bulls at their base.

Black Clover 243: Devil Host vs Devil Host
Vanessa and the others are cursing their inability to help Gauche who is about to die from his injury. Only Nero could save him by sealing his wound but even she is absent. Vanessa looks towards the heated battle between two devil hosts.
Asta’s previous powerup erased most of Dante’s magic binding him. With his new form, an enraged Asta keeps attacking Dante with increased speed. Dante still keeps dodging it due to his immense speed and special warping. He wonders which Devil it is, that belongs inside Asta. He wonders if its Devil Lucifero.
Dante wonders if it’s Zagred and still can’t figure out which devil it is. He gives up, believing Asta’s devil to be a low-level one which erases spells. He contemplates that Asta is no match for the Dark Triad, who possesses the highest-ranking Devils.
Asta’s devil powers run amock as he relentlessly attacks Dante, destroying everything in the vicinity. Dante hurls multiple swords at him, but with a spin move, Asta fends of the swords and releases more blows towards Dante.
Dante dodges again but the follow-up attack from Asta hits and injures him. He understands that Asta has begun to predict his moves. Dante is enraged that Asta has marked him!
Black Clover 244 Spoilers and Predictions
Will Gauche die? Wouldn’t anyone make it in time to save him? Where is Nero and how will she appear in time? We believe Gauche will survive. He just has to hold on for some more time.
Nero is always following Asta and she will arrive in the nick of time to save him. Or maybe Finral will appear and help him by bringing medics to his aid. We might find out in Black Clover Chapter 244.
Has Asta lost all control? Will the Devil take over him? How long can he go on before he runs out of energy? We believe Asta still has enough power to injure Dante. His training is paying off.
He hasn’t lost control. Given how he predicted Dante’s move in the final panel of Black Clover Chapter 243, we know that he is still conscious, thinking about strategy.
Will Dante lose? Is he reaching his limit now that he got injured? We still think Dante wins this easily. Throughout the fight, Dante rarely gets serious. He simply dodges and warps.
While he is using a lot more power than before, he definitely isn’t using his full abilities. He is still at 60% and constantly dodges Asta. Dante is a Yami-level Wizard and even with the new form, Asta isn’t defeating him.
What is the situation elsewhere? Will this fight go on or will there be an interruption? While it does seem that the fight might go on for 1 or 2 more chapters, we think it won’t go completely uninterrupted. It has been a while since Finral left. Yami’s meeting should be over anytime.
Heart Kingdom might already be engaged in battle. Vanica might have started to use her demon’s powers. We still don’t know why she has gone there. Has she gone to retrieve an Arcane Stage? Who is the Heart Kingdom’s Arcane Stage and more importantly, what is an Arcane Stage?
These will gradually be revealed in the upcoming Black Clover Chapters.
Finally, the Devils. What are these high rank and low rank based on? Who ranked them? We know Devils are ancient creatures and they probably has a kingdom of their own where their powers were ranked.
We know Zagred, Megicula, Zenon’s Devil and Dante’s Devil to be highly ranked. But Asta’s devil is still a mystery. While Dante believes it to be a low ranking one, We believe Asta possesses a devil if the highest caliber, possibly even higher than the Dark Triad.
Asta’s devil possesses Anti-Magic, something which totally separates him from the rest and gives it a major advantage. Dante hasn’t figured that out yet.
