Fans are really excited as Black Clover keeps throwing new secrets and fancy revelations for them. The spy especially, has been a huge subject of discussion.
Black Clover is written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata. It is being published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. Sales wise, it has been putting up strong numbers and has a very dedicated fan following. Recently, there has been a surge in fans and that is due to the anime adaptation. The anime has recently completed airing the Resurrection arc and it has impressed a lot of viewers.
Presently, Black Clover is at the Spade Kingdom arc. Things are heating up. With the arrival of Yami, the second battlefront is on fire. Black Clover Manga 248 will be following up and showcasing the third battlefront, i.e, Vanica’s attack on Heart Kingdom.

Black Clover 247 Recap:
Heart Kingdom is struck by panic and chaos as Vanica and her henchmen lay waste to it. Princess Lolopechka is in a bind as four of her spirit guardians have been defeated. She realizes the Heart Kingdom can’t defeat the intruders if the spirit guardians fail.
Noelle steps in, promising to assist her. She urges Lolopechka to protect the country and they, in turn, would protect her. Noelle hopes her teammates doesn’t lose the battle.
One of the henchmen named Svenkin has defeated a strong spirit guardian. He boasts about being a favorite and has 50 percent devil power. As he tries to kill some innocent citizen, Luck arrives and protects them.
Luck attacks him but his blow is absorbed by Svenkin, who in turn, sends Luck flying with a punch. Luck uses Lightning Magic: Thunderbolt Destruction to attack once more but it gets absorbed once more. Svenkin reveals he can change the properties of his skin to nullify any attack.
Svenkin claims that he is a Zero stage wizard while Luck is a First Stage wizard. So Luck’s only option is to run away. However, Luck readily takes on his challenge, standing his ground. When asked, Svenkin says that he is attacking Heart Kingdom under the orders of Vanica, who happens to be his idol.
Luck realises Svenkin’s stupidity and ignorance. He realises Svenkin hurts people for no reason. Putting his Magic Knight honor on the line, Luck prepares for another bout.
Black Clover 248 Spoilers & Predictions
First of all, let us clear out the first two battlefronts as Black Clover Chapter 248 will feature the Heart Kingdom battlefield.
What happened to Asta and what was that flashback he had? We believe Asta is currently incapacitated due to his exhaustion from battle. However, he will be healed by Grey and pretty soon, he’d be ready for his next fight. His current challenge is facing his inner devil and somehow bringing its powers under control. As for his flashback, we believe it was his mother and this arc will have major revelations about Asta’s origin. Black Clover Chapter 248 isn’t likely to show him but he will be back within about 5 chapters.
What is the situation of the Black Bulls near the hideout? Yami is battling Dante and he will probably be defeated. As for the rest, their fate is hanging by a thread. Black Clover Manga 248 won’t feature them so we have a few weeks for discussing how this will play out.
What is the situation of Yuno and his allies? We believe Yuno and the remaining half of the Golden Dawn are currently recuperating and they will soon join this war, in the hopes of freeing Captain Vangeance.
The members of Golden Dawn will inform Julius of this and we are expecting multiple Knight Squads of Clover Kingdom to show up. Maybe Black Clover 248 will be the first chapter to foreshadow this or maybe tease it for the fans.
Now onto Heart Kingdom. How were the spirit guardians defeated? We believe they were caught by surprise and hence, lost a battle which they could have otherwise won. What will happen to Lolopechka? We believe she will eventually face Vanica in Black Clover 248 or further chapters. It will be a battle of Devils.
Who are the intruders in Heart Kingdom? Vanica of the Dark Triad has infiltrated Heart Kingdom with her subordinates. While she possesses a whole Devil, her subordinates are only lent a portion of Devil power. As we saw in Spade kingdom, lots of Dark Triad lackeys are waiting for this power.
Why has Heart Kingdom been attacked? While Tabata hasn’t yet revealed why Vanica chose to attack here, we believe it is because of Lolopechka’s Devil. She probably plans to take it from her and use it for Spade Kingdom’s ambitions. It can also be related to their Tree of Qliphoth plan. Black Clover Chapter 248 might shed some light on this matter.
Will Luck win this battle? As a bare First Stage, Luck will have great trouble defeating Svenkin. But we expect him to outsmart and outspeed his opponent. Plus, he will probably receive help to win this battle. Who will help him? We believe Magna might come to aid him. Or maybe it will another spirit guardian. It can also be a Magic Knight from Clover kingdom but we don’t expect them to arrive this soon.
Black Clover 248 will contain more fights and revelations about this battle and fans are reluctant to wait a fortnight for the next chapter.
Black Clover Manga 248 Release Date:
Black Clover Chapter 248 Raws will be released on 22 April 2020. The fansubs will arrive within 2 days after getting translated, typeset, redrawn and proofread. 24 April 2020 will be the day when multiple sites will put up their fan translations. As for the official release of Black Clover 248, it will be a part of Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 21-22. It will be available on Mangaplus, Viz and Shonen Jump App on 26 April 2020.
