We have finally reached the point where we find out more about Captain Yami’s past. Black Clover chapter 342 could not get here any sooner. Will this be another Itachi storyline or will it be something completely new? We are so excited to find out.
The popularity poll results are out. And guess what, Noelle is at the top again. Noelle Silva has shown incredible growth over the course of the story and every time she appears, she manages to steal the show.
And hence, Noel ranks number 1, beating out even the protagonist by more than 10 thousand votes. Second is Asta, followed by Yami, Yuno, and Dante. In the next issue, we will find out the following ranks. Our guess is Nacht and Liebe in ranks 5 to 10.
Asta realizes that he has a lot to learn. This new Zetten technique is quite nuanced and he needs to come up with his own ideal way to use it. In Black Clover 342, we probably won’t see it but as the story progresses, Asta will find his own version of using Zetten.

Black Clover chapter 342 Release Date
There is a break next week. And thus, the new chapter, Black Clover 342 will be coming out on 26th October 2022. These are the raw scans of the chapter and they will be scanned out and leaked online. You might also find them on the official website.
Once the raws get released, the spoilers start flowing out. They are taken up by scanlation teams and different languages of fan versions come out. The English fan translations should be out on google by 28 October 2022.
On 30th October 2022, the official English translations of Black Clover Manga 342 will be released and we recommend you read this version instead. This version can be found legally and free of cost on Viz, Mangaplus websites, and the Shonen Jump app.

We hear it once again – Ryudo is a man without Yojutsu. And despite that, he somehow managed to become the Shogun, which is equivalent to a Wizard King. He is literally a role model for our protagonist.
And Asta has his unique anti-magic to help him. Similarly, Ryudo has the ability to see all things with his closed eye.
What are the Ryuzen Seven doing?
In this chapter, we meet 3 new members of the Ryuuzen Seven, namely Jozo, Daizaemon, and Komari. All of them demonstrate their unique skill in Zetten to completely outclass Asta in battle.
Their personalities are quite peculiar but it seems like they are all good-natured.
Asta keeps training with them. He sees that each person has a different way of using the technique. He realizes that he must solidify his Zetten even more and focus on finding the openings in his opponent.
Black Clover 342 spoilers will show Asta improving further in these techniques.
What is Ichika doing?
While she is quite wary of Asta as a person, Ryudo has assigned her to take care of him. And this is a man whom she follows blindly. But there is a reason for that.
Ryudo has used his unique ability of Tengentsu, wisdom, and charisma to unify the warring fragments of the nation. He tirelessly works for its betterment.
Ichika feels deeply indebted to him. He has even saved her life. Hence, every order of his is important to Ichika and she won’t ever go against him. Maybe in Black Clover Manga 342 spoilers, we will see what Ryudo was in the past and his relation to Yami.
Why did Yami kill everyone?
Asta points out how important Captain Yami is to him. He praises his master and wants to talk to Ichika about him. However, the latter is unwilling since she has a deep hatred for her brother.
Apparently, in the past, Captain Yami had massacred his entire clan! Black Clover Chapter 342 will begin the backstory which will elaborate on his past.
