Isagi must make his body catch up to his mind. Currently, he is overexerting himself quite a lot. He needs to drastically improve his stamina and resilience. Maybe we will see him working on that in Blue Lock Manga 204 – after all, physicality is a big factor in the world of football.
What is Isagi saying to Yukimiya?
The goal from Yuki was incredible. It was a perfect shot that carried all of Yuki’s emotions. This match was loved by the whole world. After the match, Isagi walked up to his teammate and apologized. And Yukimiya immediately apologized too.
If not for Isagi, Yuki would be done by now. Isagi noticed him and passed. However, our protagonist says that he simply used Yuki as a tool to beat Kaiser. That said, he never expected Reo to make that run in the end.

In the final play, Isagi thought about scoring. But it was stopped by Kaiser. However, Isagi could not let Kaiser win. On the other hand, he can’t beat Kaiser in a one on one duel, as he is right now. Hence, Isagi switched to his backup plan.
The backup was something he kept just for the purpose of beating Kaiser. Isagi was always concerned with being the best on the pitch – he was thinking far ahead. And hence, he could make that amazing play. Blue Lock Manga 204 will show Isagi’s next target.
For now, these two egoists will keep devouring each other on the pitch, until only one remains. Our protagonist motivates Yuki to keep chasing his dreams and stop being a player who can be manipulated. They are effectively frenemies at this point.
What is Kaiser doing?
Isagi made a great play but Ness found it weak and despicable. As he badmouthed the guy he linked up with, Kaiser stopped him. Kaiser admitted that Isagi wins this round. In that one moment, Isagi managed to look further than Kaiser.
However, he also says that Noa won’t be there to support Isagi next time. So now, it is a true contest between them. Whichever striker scores more goals, is the better one. But, before this could escalate, Isagi collapsed from exhaustion. He will wake up in Blue Lock 204 to face Kaiser once again.
