For the raw scans of My Hero Academia Manga 285, you will have to wait until the 23rd of September, 2020. They will appear in the newest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. The fans scans will be out soon, probably within September 25, 2020.

My Hero Academia 284 Recap:
Deku wants to prevent Shigaraki from creating another wave of disintegration. But maintaining so many people in the air is too much for him. He released everyone but Shigaraki into the ground and gains steadier control. Endeavor is frustrated about being helpless. Bakugo is worried for Deku and cautions him against Shigaraki.
Bakugo remembers Deku’s training period under All Might. They had called Sero, Uraraka and Asui to help Deku with his multiple quirks. Sero will teach Black Whip, Uraraka will teach Float and Asui will help with both. Bakugo is also involved, simulating a proper battlefield. Unfortunately, Aizawa can’t help since he is busy in interrogation.
As the training goes on, Bakugo warns All Might that Deku can’t keep up the charade forever. But All Might can’t reveal Deku’s secrets either – the good and the evil, they all seek power. Deku telling everyone will create imbalances in his life.
Bakugo questions All Might about the fourth user of One for All; he is the only one All Might didn’t reveal much about. All Might has hunches but he won’t jump to conclusions; so he will keep quiet for the time being. As for Deku, both Bakugo and All Might are worried.
Deku doesn’t hold his own life in high regards and thus, is a major danger to himself. Bakugo realizes this and wants to protect Deku. Now that he is over his insecurities, he has become a much better hero. He is even atoning for bullying Deku by helping with training. All Might notes that Bakugo is very similar to Endeavor and his journey of redemption.
In the present, Endeavor gets ready for another attack. Deku is already extremely injured but he is still going. Using Black Whip, Deku hurls Shigaraki. The villain’s healing has slowed and the damage is sticking. So it is time for an all out attack to beat the villain. Deku throws away his own wellbeing and invests his all into the fight.

Boku No Hero Academia Manga 285 Predictions
My Hero Academia Manga 285 will be an extremely serious chapter. We know that if Deku uses 100% power on his right arm again, he will lose functionality. Now he has done the same to his left and will have trouble with both arms. The aftermath of this fight isn’t as peachy as we imagine.
As Bakugo said, Deku’s priority never lies in protecting himself. This makes him be a constant danger to himself. Deku’s reckless fighting can very well cost him his life. In the final panel of the last chapter, Deku was hurling Shigaraki towards Endeavor without caring about himself.
My Hero Academia 285 will probably show Endeavor going all out at Shigaraki, with the help of Bakugo. It is also time for Bakugo to shine more. The young deuteragonist has shown immense development in character. Now that Bakugo and Deku are united, they can change a lot more.
Bakugo will probably be the one to check Deku and save him in time. He might be assisted by Shoto’s ice. Together, they will land a decisive blow on the villain. But saving Deku might come with the cost of Bakugo getting injured somehow.
Now then, the mystery of One for All. It won’t be until a couple of chapters later that we will see more of this. The fourth owner and his mystery will be revealed. And maybe it will be then that Deku awakens another quirk. The nature of these events is completely unknown at this time but they are must happen somewhere around this arc.
Lastly, we have a tiny easter egg to discuss. Chapter 285 might not focus on this but it’s bound to come out eventually since it is directly related to this arc. All Might mentioned that Aizawa is busy with Kurogiri’s interaction. Should this go well, we can receive a lot of intel on All for One and the League’s past. And maybe it will tie up with the fourth user – the mystery is indeed menacing!
