Boruto Episode 213 Release Date
Things are finally going uphill and we are nearing the fated big fight that puts a stop to all of Jigen’s plans. But before that, we have Kashin Koji vs Jigen.
Boruto Episode 213 is titled “The True Identity” and will air this week on August 29th, 2021. It covers chapter 46 from the Boruto manga.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 213 Preview

As we mentioned earlier and shown in the preview, the title of Boruto Episode 213 is “True Identity” and manga chapter 46 will be covered in the upcoming episode.
Amado has defected to Konoha and decides to reveal all of Jigen’s secrets and how he came to be. In Boruto Episode 212 we saw Amado show the ongoing conversation between Jigen and Kashin Koji and they started fighting at the end of the episode.
Kashin Koji is a cyborg just like other inner members of Kara but unlike others, Amado created Koji with the sole intention of taking down Jigen.
Amado being one of Jigen’s confidants knows many secrets about him and with his defection to Konoha, he decides to share all of that with Naruto and the team.
For Amado to get shelter in Konoha, he must prove his worth and thus he starts explaining the secrets behind Jigen and also what exactly is an Ohtsutsuki.
Ohtsutsuki are invaders from another planet and they can also be called alien parasites. Their sole goal is to devour the life of a planet.
What is Jigen’s True Identity?
As we can see from the episode title, the upcoming Boruto anime episode will focus on Jigen’s true identity.
Who he is and how he came to be?
Amado explains to everyone who Ohtsutsuki are and why they invade any planet. Jigen’s real identity is Isshiki Ohtsutsuki and he came to Earth with Kaguya.
Kaguya betrayed Isshiki and he was very close to death when he stumbled upon a monk close by whose name was Jigen. Since Isshiki was very weak, he couldn’t embed karma onto him and thus he used his secret Jutsu and shrunk himself and thus entered Jigen’s body.
Isshiki physically exists inside Jigen’s body and slowly took control of Jigen’s brain and body thus controlling him. Eventually, Isshiki grew strong enough to start looking for a proper vessel for him, thus finding Kawaki.
