Episode 5 Recap

After Rampo found Mushitaro guilty, the car was already surrounded by policemen. The driver admitted to being a foreign diplomat and being exempt from criminal charges when the police attempted to arrest Mushitaro.

When they were spared, a phone in the car starts to ring and as Mushitaro picks it up, he is confined inside the Kindaichi Murder chamber. Mushitaro becomes aware that he is caught up in Poe’s illusion of murder.

But he thought he could get away because he knew how it worked. All Mushitaro had to do was solve the riddle and name the murderer. But since it was a suicide, it wasn’t true that he had killed the author.

Rampo threatened Mushitaro that if he doesn’t agree to get arrested he will reveal the secret behind the novel’s last chapter, which would spoil Yokimizu’s ultimate plan to create a perfect mystery series.

Mushitaro eventually agrees but instead Rampo hands a business card to him asking him to get a job in a government agency.

He is taken away in a car when suddenly a man appears and introduces him as “Decay of the Angels” and that he was there to kill him. Mushitaro uses the police radio to warn Ranpo not to take the next case, after which gunshots are heard.

Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Episode 6 Spoilers

One month after the Cannibalistic Mutual Destruction Case, we see the Detective Agency members discussing a case. Kunikida is explaining the details of those gruesome murders when Ranpo tells them that it was a message from the “Decay of the Angel”.

While they deduce that a fifth murder was going to take place, Fukuzawa is determined to stop them. Rampo wants the agency to drop the case because of what Mushitarou had said before being shot. When Fukuzawa denies it, Rampo walks out of the room not wanting to be a part of it.

The Vice President of the Ministry of Justice is seen holding a secret meeting. He talks about avenging his father and capturing all the members of the agency charging them with the crimes they committed in the past.

By the end of the chapter, we see Mushitarou was alive and was made to cancel the “Perfect Crime” ability and bring the past crimes of the agency back to life.

Fans will finally get to see all the members of the Armed Detective Agency, in the upcoming Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Episode 6. It will definitely be an episode to look forward to.
