Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 18 will be the final episode of the season. While the first season went on for a good 26 episodes, this one will be ending with only 18 episodes.
That is because the creators can’t afford to start the new arc and it leave it halfway. It is much better to end after one arc and begin a new arc in a new season.
And maybe because we are so close to the end, the creators have upped their game even more. The current episode has been one of the most visually impressive ones ever.
It is absolutely marvelous and does one of the best animation flex ever. We can only hope that the next one will be of this level.
This Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Ep 18 will be the last episode of this season and will be a 45-minute special episode. The release date for Demon Slayer Season 3 will be out soon, so keep an eye out.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 18 Release Date
The final episode will be coming out as scheduled. On February 13, 2022, which is a Sunday, Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 18 will be coming out. It will be the 44th overall episode of the show. The episode is titled “No matter how many lives”.
The final episode will have the same timing in Japan. But internationally, the timing is varied in different places. Plus the subbed version comes 30 minutes late. Nevertheless, we are putting the release timings below.
- 4:45 PM in British Time
- 11:45 PM EDT for Eastern areas
- 8:45 PM PDT for Americas
- 2:15 AM ACDT for Australia
- 9 PM IST for India
- 12:30 AM KST for Korea
Update: The English sub episode has been aired for fans to watch online, do check the official websites or visit Netflix to watch the episode.

Where to watch Demon Slayer Season 2 Ep 18?
The upcoming episode, Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 18, will be available on the networks of WeTV, Fuji TV, Tokyo MX, GTV, and so on. They all release the raw Japanese episode. However, most fans won’t understand them.
For international viewers, there will be the English subbed version and it will be available on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Streaming services like Netflix, iQIYI, Bilibili, Viu, and so on will also have the episode.

Season 2 Episode 17 Recap
We reached the climax of the Entertainment arc in this episode. Things were looking absolutely horrible for the Demon Slayers – Inosuke stabbed and poisoned, Zenitsu trapped, Tengen unconscious and Tanjiro demotivated.
Tanjiro vigorously blamed himself but in his dreams, Nezuko came once more to pull him back to reality.
However reality is just as bad. Gyutaro catches him and the vile demon starts to berate him. He insults Tanjiro repeatedly and mocks everyone’s effort. As he starts to torture our protagonist, he attempts to flee alongside Nezuko, only to be backed into a corner.
As Gyutaro grabs Tanjiro once more, our hero has no choice but to use his last remaining weapon – his strong head. Tanjiro headbutts Gyutaro whilst simultaneously stabbing him with a wisteria kunai! He didn’t flee, he was just searching for the kunai.
Meanwhile, Zenitsu frees himself and starts to fight Daki. And surprisingly, Tengen appears once more. He had deliberately stopped his heart to keep the poison at bay.
Zenitsu uses his breathing to gain newfound speed and keeps Daki busy. Tengen is just as skilled with only one arm, engaging in a vicious duel with Gyutaro.
Tanjiro uses Hinokami Kagura but he is still not strong enough. This is when he unleashes everything he has, thereby extending the mark on his forehead. He manages to sink his blade into Gyutaro. But the demon will survive if Daki manages to stay alive. Zenitsu was already struggling against her.
To everyone’s surprise, Inosuke arrives. He can shift his organs properly and live in the mountain has made him resistant to poison. With great effort, they manage to behead both the demons.
Unfortunately, even after winning the fight, they can’t rest. Gyutaro’s body unleashed once last suicidal attack!
Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 18 Discussion:
With the season coming to an end, we will be moving on to the epilogue of the Entertainment District arc and then, a new one will begin. The epilogue will show our demon slayers surviving the blast.
Obviously, the main characters won’t be killed. But what is important is if we can see Muzan. He praised Daki for her accomplishments and will be angry to see her die.
Seeing Muzan will probably give us a hint of what is coming. We know from this arc that he is somewhat afraid of the Hinokami kagura. The endgame will have Tanjiro proficient in the technique.
As for the narrative, it will move on to the Swordsmith Village Arc. This is the arc where Tanjiro goes to the village of the swordsmiths to have his katana replaced.
And it is here, that he will meet the Love hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, and the mist hashira, Muichiro Tokito. Together, they will have a lot on their plate.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 18 Spoilers:
