The disappearance of Jiwoo’s Mom
Jiwoo stays away from his mother but keeps in contact for parenting reasons. Lately, Jiwoo hasn’t been able to contact her mother for three days.
If Jiwoo’s mom is too busy, she usually contacts him once a month but it’s been three days since she hasn’t replied back to Jiwoo. Considering this possibility, Kayden and Kartein advised Jiwoo to wait a bit more.
Jiwoo is actually worried because she hasn’t missed his text for the last 5 years. Kayden told Jiwoo to call her mom without thinking about anything else.
Again considering her job, she doesn’t reply back to Jiwoo immediately so she replies late at night when she’s back from work. However, she isn’t even replying back at night. Kayden and Kartein are worried too now, but people do get busy with their jobs so he asked Jiwoo to wait.
For a few days after that, Jiwoo kept contacting her without any return. This was really concerning since it was out of her habit. Kayden then asked Jiwoo to visit her to make everything is alright.
Jiwoo’s Search
With Kayden’s advice, Jiwoo went ahead to visit his mother. He knew about her address, so he directly went to that place.
Arriving at the apartment, they stand outside a locked door. Kayden used his sharp claws to unlock the door and they went inside.
Jiwoo was surprised to see the apartment and couldn’t believe that his mom lived there. The place was really empty and cold.
Kayden and Kartein are more experienced in this field, they could recognize immediately that no one lived here and asked Jiwoo if it was the correct place.
Kartein concluded that it has been a long time since someone lived here, or actually nobody even lived here. Jiwoo was surprised because his mom’s letters and packages were sent from this address.
With this, Kartein replied that she probably used this abandoned address to hide something. What more clues will they find in Eleceed Chapter 232?
Jiwoo and his mom: Growing up
Some flashbacks about Jiwoo and his mother were shown. It can be seen that Jiwoo had awakened abilities since he was a child and his mother was worried about him.
When he was small, his mother promised him that she would look into methods to turn him normal again. This would help Jiwoo to make new friends and lead a happy life like other kids.

As Jiwoo grew a bit more mature, his mother disclosed her job. She told him that a lot of people suffer where she worked, so she asked if he was alright with living away for longer periods of time. Jiwoo agreed again and asked his mother to do what she wished.
This almost explains Jiwoo’s relationship with his mother. Since his mother was always looking for a cure, he was mostly alone. Is this really all there to it or still something is hidden? Eleceed Chapter 232 will revolve around Jiwoo’s mother and their relationship.
What happens next?
Jiwoo’s mom is finally shown but he was taken by the men who appeared in suits. She has been isolated and kept questioning a certain matter.
They questioned her about the ‘samples’. They were curious about why she was stealing samples or who was supporting her actions.
She had explained already and thus explains again that the ‘samples’ are to dispose of so she could steal them anyway. Initially, it was confusing to understand what ‘samples’ they were talking about.
However, the man made a comment about retrieving a sample from an experiment that she used to be in charge of. This totally explains that they were talking about living people because non-living couldn’t be retrieved if they were disposed of.
The man questioned about the sample because it was supposedly disposed of months ago but they were able to get hold of it alive, They had captured all of the samples and even found evidence against her.
The samples captured had told them that she saved and helped them to escape. This had totally blown off her calm demeanor.
This statement is held to be true as Amyeong, also known as Rui was a victim of those experiments. She even thanked her later for helping her to escape.
Jiwoo’s mom is now actually horrified about this because those men don’t seem to be ordinary people. She also has an awakened son, so she is even more worried as he can be brought up for experiments as well.
