Kafka was stuck on a moral conundrum, on one side there was Mina, humanities greatest weapon against the mega monsters, on the brink of death in the hands of Kaiju No. 9 while on the other hand the foot soldiers struggling to save the civilians from the 100s of unidentified Kaiju.
Just as Kafka is in a state of panic, Leno makes an unexpected entrance. He demands Kafka go save Mina and reassures him that he will handle the unidentified Kaiju.
Just then we see Iharu, Aoi, and Haruichi join the battlefield to replace the exhausted captains after their intense fight with the 6 unidentified Kaiju.

Kaiju No 8 Raw Scans and Leaks
We are at a thrilling turning point in Kaiju No. 8 and with the No. 9 almost attaining the power of Mina’s kaiju battle suit, fans are at the edge of their seats.
As of now the raw scans are not made available but will be rolled out by January 28, 2024. We will have them up to see along with spoilers as soon as they are released.

Mina will lose her powers
As the narrative progresses, Kaiju No. 9 is in the process of assimilating Mina like Cell and the androids in Dragon Ball Z. No. 9 will likely attain the power of her suit but will not kill Mina.
Kafka reaches there in time to save Mina but not soon enough to stop No. 9 from reaching his goals. He sees Mina on the ground without her suit and No. 9 standing tall yet again outsmarting the military. For such high-stakes Shonen battle manga, read about Kagurabachi chapter 17.
Kafka Vs Kaiju No. 9
After No. 9 attains his new sought-after power, he will go head on head with Kafka to test his new powers. No. 9 will likely invite Kafka inside the teleportation Kaiju taking them somewhere empty and desolate so that Kafka won’t hold back.
But recognizing the behavior of Kaiju No. 9, he is not one to seek battle but rather seeks to fulfill his goal of taking over Japan. He just might go battle it out in Tokyo or not even battle at all since it is a waste of resources for him.
Whether Kaiju No. 9 likes it or not Kafka will go in for a finishing attack as soon as he sees No. 9.
Will Kafka be able to win
Even though Kaiju No. 9 has a new arsenal, Kafka has been training too. As of yet, we have yet to see the true potential of Kafka and the results of his training.
Kafka will likely overwhelm Kaiju No. 9 with his fighting prowess and lead to No. 9 running back into the teleportation Kaiju and retreating. Kafka tries to follow him but is too busy saving Mina or other civilians who were attacked by No. 9 to successfully escape.
Will Mina Retire
Mina lost her power and will be forced to retire as a captain, but her experience on the battlefield will let be still work for the military as a trainer.
It is also likely that she will get another Kaiju battle suit and begin her training once again joining Kafka as a rookie officer.
