Yuna had a failed confession and sulked over such a disaster. Jiyeh gives her a cold stare as she knows that all she’s thinking about is Ijin.
Later, during Ijin’s work time, Jiyeh asks Ijin about his love life since it’s a hot topic for high schoolers. Everyone in the car was anticipating his answers.
However, he had no interest in love life as he thinks that he isn’t worthy of it. All of them were left baffled after his reply.
After work, Ijin and his sister went to buy apples for their grandfather. They had a good time shopping in the store and were walking back home like usual.
Everything looked calm until Ijin sensed a presence across the street. 002 had come to Korea to visit him and had tracked him down.
Ijin’s had a scared expression and told his sister to head home quickly. Seeing his brother in that state, she couldn’t say a word.
Ijin and 002 slowly moved forward and met on the main road. 002 taunted him for being completely a changed person and inquired about the girl. They were intensely looking at each other.
Coincidentally, Cha Dusik was also crossing the road and came to look at why he wasn’t crossing the road. He was surprised to see Ijin and the other person share the same look as well.
Ijin suggested that they change locations. Is he taking preparations for a fight or will this end with just words?
Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 124 Release Date
002 has been holding a grudge against Ijin for leaving the group behind. He came alone to meet him so they can sort it out probably because Mad Dog is on their hunt too.
Ijin needs more allies now because his weak point is his family. He needs stronger people to protect and keep them safe.
With no news of a break, Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 124 official raw scans will be released on Sunday, February 19, 2023, on its official platform, Naver. Scanlation groups release the English scans for the chapter on the same day.

ijin’s Relation With 002 and 005
Ijin was actually Recruit No. 982 (Chapter 98), so over the course of time, many other young orphans were illegally brought into the camp and died during training or due to severe bullying by other numbered and non-numbered ones. 1000 recruits were taken according to Iron Group CEO, and 40 survived.
Ijin learned his skills from both Maya and 002, who both appear to be older since they were taller than him when he first arrived at Camp. This will help in better grasping the complex interactions between Ijin and these two numbered ones.
Maya was the first (005 in chapter 97), and 002 appeared later (as explained by 006 in chapter 115).
Ijin is initially seen being saved by Maya in Chapter 97 as everyone tries to knock him down and break him down, but she helps him get up and stand on his feet. Ijin also says she helped him a lot in Chapter 99 and recalls in a flashback that she was a teacher and older sister to him.
Although 006 (Liam) mentions that 002 taught Ijin many things, it is likely that their relationship was never “friendly” because Chapter 115 depicts Ijin being viciously beaten by other new recruits at Camp but 002 refuses to assist him. Ijin was so feeble that 002 was genuinely amazed that she was able to survive and stay alive.
As revealed by Ijin’s flashbacks of 002 in Chapter 115, 002 must have given Ijin the worst time in the Camp compared to other mercenaries, including Mad Dog, therefore Ijin naturally fears him.
At the same time that 002 acknowledged Ijin as his commander (Chapter 115), he executed any other non-numbered mercenaries at the camp who referred to Ijin as a traitor. Despite this, 002 continued to threaten Ijin, claiming that he would make Ijin pay for betraying the numbers in Chapter 120.
Ijin began displaying more concern than any other character up until Chapter 114, and in Chapter 115, he was so preoccupied with thinking about 002 that he took a punch in a spar boxing match.
After the ambush, in Chapter 120 Ijin is still thinking about 002 despite his hand-fighting and knife-handling skills being better than his.
From all the recent developments, we can expect progress between Ijin and Liam (006), 032, 002, and Maya (005) as they will probably get more exposure in the story. Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 124 will start with 002’s part of the story.
