We are so happy to be back after such a long time. These breaks have been hard on us – staying without our favorite series for even one week can be surprisingly tough. But here we are, 6 weeks later, hoping that the frequent breaks are over.
The spoilers of One Piece Chapter 1072 have been released recently. However, whatever you read ahead, please do it with a grain of salt. These spoilers are not 100 percent confirmed but there is a very high chance that they are true.

This is an experiment from the past. After some testing, a scientist concluded that human souls have a weight of 21 grams. Oda sensei references this experiment in this chapter. He uses it in his own way to benefit the story.
That said, the experiment is more of a hoax than an experiment – it is not scientific. If you read the article, you will see how it is not legitimate. Still, the concept is interesting.

One Piece 1072 Spoilers
- This chapter is named: “The Weight of Memory”
- The cover page has Queen, Judge, and Caeser making weapons.
- A flashback shows Vegapunk explaining Kuma’s power.
- His fruit manages to make intangible things tangible – like he managed to materialize pain, which is a feeling.
- So, since Kuma can materialize even memories, Vegapunk wanted his help.
- He wanted Kuma to materialize his own memories.
- This way, Vegapunk would be able to calculate the weight of memories!
- In the present, Kaku is fighting Zoro. He has awakened his fruit, just like Lucci.
- Zoro defeats Kaku but he doesn’t show any signs of using Advanced Conqueror’s Haki.
- Stussy is apparently a clone of Buckingham Stussy, who was a part of the Rocks Pirates.
One Piece Manga 1072 Spoilers Primary Impression
The chapter is interesting – it makes us wonder. We are particularly impressed by Oda sensei’s knowledge. The concept of souls and memories having weight is quite an interesting topic and it is nicely incorporated into Kuma’s backstory. We are excited to know more.
Zoro defeating Kaku was perfectly in line with Luffy defeating Lucci. And since he did not use Conqueror’s Haki, we are hoping that in the near future, there will be an enemy who will manage to draw it out of Zoro.
The cover page only shows 3 of the 5 scientists making weapons. What did Vegapunk and that female scientist work on? Who even is that female scientist? We really hope this stuff is answered.
About Stussy, some fans are theorizing that she is the clone of Weevil’s mother. If it is actually true, then maybe Weevil is the son of Whitebeard. That particular thread of the story can become infinitely more interesting if Weevil is actually the son of Newgate.
Lastly, there is no break next week. One Piece 1072 is coming out on January 22, 2023, and then, on January 29, we will see the release of One Piece 1073. Let us hope that we go back to the 3 chapter month schedule.
