JUMP Giga’s summer cover will be drawn by Oda sensei. In a way, it will lean towards promoting the upcoming movie, One Piece Film: Red. We see that Shanks is leading the charge and behind him are all the Jump heroes.
For the last issue of Jump, the survey results came out. One Piece was beaten by Black Clover, but that makes sense since Clover is entering its final arc. That last chapter was absolutely incredible. As for general praise, it ranked third.

One Piece Chapter 1049 Raw Scans
There is no break next week. But followed by the next chapter, we will probably get a scheduled break from Oda sensei.
Anyways, the next chapter, which is, One Piece 1049 raw scans is coming out on May 11, 2022. The raw scans come first, in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. And these Japanese scans need an immediate translation.
We get the Korean version first. The scanlators work on the raws to release the English fan translations. The process takes a bit of time and we expect them on 13 May 2022. You can google for them, which we won’t recommend.

One Piece Manga 1049 Discussion
We are expecting some sort of backstory very soon. We have experienced the whole raid, and now, the climax is upon us. But before the final battle ends, we need the Kaido backstory. Fans are hoping to see it as soon as possible.
Kaido has become a very intriguing character. We know that somewhere along the way, he changed from an optimistic dream chaser to a pessimistic warmonger. Maybe within the next couple of chapters, it will begin, since Luffy versus Kaido has started to turn stale at this point.
We are hoping that Orochi stays down in One Piece 1049 manga spoilers. He has bothered us for long enough and if we don’t see him anymore, it won’t ruffle any feathers.
Orochi is literally unnecessary at this point and we hope to see more interesting plot threads get resolved in the upcoming chapters.
The lanterns are slowly illuminating the sky. We see how the people express their frustration. The oppressed Wano citizens know that after this festival, their hell will resume once more. They just want to be free.

What is going on in Whole Cake Island?
The identity of the two intruders has been released. Reiju and Ichiji are here to save their siblings. They have infiltrated Chocolat Town and the mission has begun.
However, Brulee is informing Cracker about this. This means, One Piece 1049 might show Cracker arriving to fight these two.
What is Luffy doing?
Luffy’s gigantic punch is descending on Kaido. However, Onigashima must be moved away. Momo says that he is not up to the task, but corrects himself. He starts trying harder to do the job assigned to him.
Momo truly believes that Luffy will be able to revive the Kozuki Clan.
As for Kaido, he is far from done. He decides to take the punch head-on, except there is a change. Kaido is going to use fire. Kaido lights his body on fire, which is so hot, that it can vaporize!
Just like Oden, he is trying to burn his opponent. One Piece Manga 1049 will show how much it affects Luffy.
Can Kaido handle the punch?
In his dragon form, Kaido has taken the maximum amount of damage. But he still uses his dragon form, despite it being the weakest one physically. In his dragon mode, he looks incredibly dangerous and he has access to a lot of amazing abilities to use anytime.
Luffy is using Advanced Armament Haki. And combined with Conqueror’s Haki, his might is really immense. What’s interesting is that Hyogoro taught him to attack without touching his opponent.
And that makes One Piece 1049 English Chapter highly intriguing. Kaido won’t be defeated by his but he might sustain an incredible amount of damage.
What happened 20 years ago?
We remember seeing Oden protect everyone. He was a hero who saved his followers while boiling himself. But then again, he was Oden; he was born to boil.
After the hour of legends, the vassals immediately headed to Oden castle, to protect his family.
Kaido and Orochi followed them immediately. We know how Kaido laid waste to that castle and threatened Momo. During that time, they met and fought the Daimyo, crushing all 5 of them.
Interestingly, we still know of only 4 daimyos as of now. The mysterious 5th one will be revealed later maybe.
Pretty soon, the people were enslaved and put to work. And thus began the hell for Wano. The fantastic country got reduced to shambles, owing to the tyranny of its rulers. One Piece 1049 might show these people seeing a ray of hope. The editors rightfully say that the present is hearing the cries of the past!
What happened to Orochi?
With his last head, Orochi attacked Hiyori. But in the nick of time, Denjiro arrived to perfectly behead him, hopefully for the last time. While Hiyori did not contribute much to this arc, her plan to take out Orochi will the same Seastone needle was brilliant.
Too bad it failed. One Piece 1049 will probably show them reuniting with the others.
One Piece 1049 Spoilers
After a week-long break, we are back with a strong chapter. One Piece 1049 manga spoilers are finally out to read.

- Kaido is a resident of the Vodka Kingdom, and the king tried to sell him to Marines multiple times.

- We see a young Whitebeard appear and invite Kaido to meet Rocks D Xebec.
- There’s also a conversation between Kaido and King.
- Kaido tells King that he knows who Joy Boy is.
- King asks who, to which Kaido replied that Joy Boy is the only one who will defeat him.
- Kaido’s flame clouds have started disappearing after getting punched by Luffy.
- Momonosuke makes new clouds to hold Onigashima up.
