Black Clover is the prime work of Yuki Tabata’s life. Being a Weekly Shonen Jump series, Black Clover has gained immense popularity as a shonen manga. Up until 2020, it has a huge craze and a strong foothold as one of the new Big 3 of shonen.
Time has not been kind to it – Black Clover has been losing a lot of its fandom. With the anime over, the craze for the series is quite low at this moment. We request all you dedicated readers to buy a couple volumes of the series and support the movie when it comes out.
The Spade Kingdom arc is still going strong. This will probably be a long arc – we believe quite a few more levels of the underworld will be opened; so there is a lot of fighting left in this arc. Black Clover 293 will probably give us a hint of the next imminent danger that awaits our heroes.
The State of the infiltration
This arc is nothing short of a mini warfare. There are a huge number of pieces involved. So here, we are going to recap the whole situation.
Yami and Vangeance are currently incapacitated and their mana is being used by the Tree of Qliphoth to open the underworld. Morris, a Diamond Kingdom resident is somehow accelerating the process.
The Dark Triad is busy with their opponents. Zenon is going hard against Yuno; Vanica is locked with Charlotte and Dante is currently linked to Magna. The rest of the infiltrators are either fighting outside, handling mobs of Devils or they are handling the lackeys of the Triad.
We also have Mereoleona handling the Demon outside. The team of wizards from Elysia is busy clearing out mid and low level devils from the first layer of the underworld.
Right now, Asta and Nacht are probably trying to end Morris! Black Clover Manga 293 might just shift the focus of the battle from Dante to someone else.
Black Clover Chapter 293 Raw Scans Release Date:
There will be a break next week. We have told this before, Yuki Tabata is a very hard worker but he is known to take occasional breaks. Once every couple of months, he takes a well-deserved one-week vacation. The next week is one of those.
Black Clover 293 raw scans will be arriving on the 19th of May, 2021. Being a series of Japanese descent, the raws will obviously be in Japanese. They will be scanned directly from the pages of the new issue of weekly Shonen Jump.
Scans of the manga are translated by various scanlation teams. International readers can’t understand Japanese, and thus, we have these fan scans in various languages. We expect the fan translations of the next chapter to arrive by 22nd May, 2021.

- Dante: What did you do this time?
- Magna replies: I didn’t do anything, we are just out of magic.
- Dante has lost connection with the devil Lucifero and can’t use his gravity and regeneration anymore.
- Void of magic, a fistfight starts between the two.
- Dante finally loses the fist fight against Magna.
- Our boy has finally won the fight. Asta and Luck hear his cry of triumph from a far.

Who do you think will win between Asta and Dante? We are not talking about past Asta – we mean present Asta, the one who just defeated two Supreme Devils. Even Yami could not handle Dante at 80% – can current Asta beat 100% Dante?

Why did Magna go to Zora for help?
In Heart Kingdom, Magna found no success – being a peasant, his mana was very low and hence he could not manage to learn the techniques of Heart Kingdom. He left resolving to get strong on his own. But that is not so easy. With low mana and no knowledge, he had just 1 option.
Manga went to the other person like him. Zora is of peasant birth and low mana reserves. And yet, we know Zora to be a relatively strong character who can hold his own. And thus, Magna went to him out of desperation.
And seeing their training, it seems like Magna made the best choice. Black Clover 293 will show more results of his training.
What did Magna learn?
Magna and Luck have always been rivals. But owing to his high mana, Luck is going ahead in life. Magna can’t have that. He too desires to stand on equal footing with the rest of the Black Bulls – he has no wish to be an afterthought, or worse, a burden to his team.
Magna learnt counter trap magic from Zora. Apparently, strong mana is overwhelming but lasts for a short while. However, the mana of Magna and Zora is low and due to its lesser volume, it somehow manages to stay for a long period of time.
The essence of this is simple – Magna has long lasting magic. So he needs knowledge and to build something; he has to prepare ahead of time and lay down his arsenal. This is when Magna decided to build the soulchain deathmatch.
Slowly but surely, he built the chain. It can be used once one time only but it is super effective. Black Clover Chapter 293 will show if it serves to win or not!
Can Magna beat Dante?
Currently, Magna is locked in a fistfight with Dante. His strategy is simply. He has linked himself and Dante with the chain and Dante can’t rip it off since it is linked to his own soul. Both their mana is pooled and divided equally.
So, if Dante has 1000 mana and Magna had 2 mana, the technique would give 501 mana to both of them.
With high amounts of power, Magna has engaged Dante is a fist fight. The gravity magic is not working on Magna. With great determination, the young Bull keeps fighting. However, Black Clover 293 will probably have Maga losing.
That is because this fight is a battle of attrition for Dante. Dante has body magic and he will heal himself. Eventually, Magna will run out of stamina and power and he will be defeated. Dane will win due to endurance and healing! It is not fair to poor Magna!
