Welcome To Samdal-ri depicts the story of two individuals, Cho Yong Pil and Cho Sam Dal. Both of them have been friends since childhood and are from the same hometown. When Cho Sam Dal grows up, she moves to seoul to focus on her career and never wants to come to her hometown.
Sam Dal leads a successful life in Seoul as a photographer but her life starts to fall apart when she loses her career as a photographer due to an unexpected event. Sam Dal decides to return to her hometown and there she meets her childhood friend again after so many years. Both of them start to fall for eachother and develop their relationship.
