Blue Lock Episode 13 Recap
Now that we know when and where we can watch episode 14, here’s a brief recap of episode 13 of Blue Lock.
Episode 13 manages to keep the viewers engaged with its multiple awe-inspiring moments. While we root for Isagi, Itoshi captures our interest with his amazing kicks. Isagi Yoichi, Bachira Meguru, and Nagi Seishirou team up for the second selection round. Their match is against the top three rankers of Blue Lock: Itoshi Rin, Aryuu Juubee, and Tokimitsu Aoshi.
It is a tough fight, but Isagi and the team are stronger than they were. They are confident that with their teamwork, they can win against the top players. Isagi plans to steal Itoshi Rin.
The team is excited as they score their first goal against their opponents. But the happiness is short-lived as their opponents begin to play seriously. Itoshi declares that soccer is more than just a sport to him: it is a fight to the death.
He scores a goal straight from kickoff, surprising everyone on the field. This is no reason for Isagi to back off though. He pushes forward with his play. He is sure that with Bachira’s clean pass and Nagi’s skill, they can score another goal. But Isagi loses the ball to Aryuu, who scores a goal with his unexpected “glam” skills.
Bachira is excited. He plans to go ahead with his dribble skills. Tokimitsu’s anxiety kicks in. The seemingly clumsy player displays extraordinary strength as he scores another goal.
Isagi is overwhelmed by the sheer difference in skill in comparison to the top-ranked players. Nagi suggests a triangle play so that none of them are isolated. The new strategy seems to work.
A “gift” pass from Bachira fires up Nagi and he succeeds in scoring another goal. As they discuss their strategy further, Itoshi kicks the ball directly toward the goal but Isagi manages to stop it.
This does not make a difference as Itoshi Rin takes his second shot from the corner kick. Isagi is hopeful but the hope is crushed by Itoshi Rin as he scores the winning goal.
The episode ends with Bachira getting stolen by Tokimitsu and the team. Isagi vows to do whatever it takes to get Bachira on his team.
