Dexter Morgan could finally be back in Dexter New Blood Episode 6 throwing away the mask of Jim Lindsay, as Angela has finally discovered his real name, though there is still room for Dexter to wriggle out of this situation as he has done in the past.
In the promo for Season 1 Episode 6, we see that Angela is willing to give him a chance to explain himself and she would probably be thinking that he can explain himself as ‘Master Serial killer’, which wouldn’t be the first conclusion that pops into her mind.
This is where Our Favourite Serial Killer can squeeze out an explanation that could keep her from digging around for a while.
But as we have seen so far this season, Angela is a good cop, and there is no reason to believe that she can’t get ahead of Dexter and put him in a very difficult position and she wouldn’t be the first cop to do so( Looking at you Doakes).
Dexter New Blood has brought back Dexter Morgan in the avatar of Jim Lindsay, hiding out in Iron Lake, after faking his death almost 10 years ago.
Original Show Runner for the first 4 seasons, Clyde Philips has brought back Dexter and although it is only 5 episodes in, we can already feel the excitement and tension of the first 4 seasons as the Dark Passenger slowly returns.
The Episode will be here in less than 5 hours, and is a must watch for everyone.

That Cameo Explained:
Although several characters from the Original Series who were set to come back were revealed early on including Harrison Morgan, Debra Morgan, and the Trinity Killer, Arthur Mitchell, the return of Miami Metro Homicide Captain, Angel Batista was not revealed early on and came as a surprise for many.
Angel Batista was speaking at a conference about connecting seemingly unrelated cases.
While Angel is speaking at the conference, he mentions The infamous Bay Harbor Butcher and how this serial killer was so difficult to catch and that many were under the impression it was an employee at the police station, referencing how James Doakes was blamed for Dexter’s murders in Season 2.
At the end of Season 8, it was hinted that Quinn, Masuka, and Batista may have figured out that the Bay Harbour Butcher was Dexter Morgan and decided to keep quiet about it as he was declared deceased in a tragic boat accident.
The return of Batista finally clears the mystery of whether they ever figured it out.
Angel Batista recollects Dexter in a seemingly nonchalant way which certainly isn’t the way one would remember a person who was a serial killer, so it seems that Miami metro PD and the rest of the world are still in the dark about the Bay Harbour Butcher’s real identity.
While No one at Miami Metro could ever figure out the puzzle of the Bay Harbour Butcher with the exception of Maria Laguerta figuring it out but dying at the hands of Debra Morgan.
During the course of Seasons 7 and 8, no one else ever put the pieces together that Dexter is The Bay Harbor Butcher, Angela, and true-crime podcaster Molly Park, who are new blood on this series, pun intended, are quickly closing in on revealing his true identity.
After a decade of successfully living off the grid, can the Iron Lake PD do what the Miami Metro police never could?
Was a true-crime podcaster really the extra ammunition that Miami Metro always needed? Maybe, but identifying Dexter Morgan could still take more because we can never know when it’s the case of our favorite serial killer.
