We are back after 3 whole months with a brand-new arc. And this time, we take a break from Goku and Vegeta’s troubles and come to their children – Goten and Trunks respectively. In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 89, we will find out more and more about this new arc.
This new arc is probably going to be a light-hearted one. Until now, the series has been quite the serious one and it will be quite nice to have a fun-filled arc. Maybe Trunks and Mai will be the focus so this might just be an arc focused on rom-com.
It is nice to see Trunks and Goten being best friends. They are in high school now and have taken up being make-believe superheroes – although they are superhuman, to be honest.
In Dragon Ball Super 89, we will see Trunks try his best to ask Mai out.

Dragon Ball Super 89 Release Date
After a long hiatus, we are back on track once again. We know that Dragon Ball Super 89 raw scans is coming out on January 15, 2023. You can also rent these raws from the official website of Shonen Jump magazine.
Next, we have fan translations. While they appear for many weeklies, they do not for the V Jump titles. English fan translations of this series rarely come and hence, we are not keeping our hopes up for any of them.
We know that Dragon Ball Super Manga 89 official English scans come out on January 20, 2023. And on that raw, all of us can visit viz or mangaplus websites or the shonen jump app to read the chapter legally and free of cost.
Boruto Chapter 77 will also be published this week, do read it when out.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 89 Spoilers
Right now, we are very close to the spoilers of the new chapter. While they are not out yet, they will be and as soon as we find any leaks of Dragon Ball Super Manga 89 leaked online, we will immediately post them in this section.
As of now, we expect the previews to be out within the next couple of days and more spoilers should be released by January 17, 2023. Until then, we just request you to be a little patient and wait alongside us for the new content.
Dragon Ball Super Manga 89 Theories
Earth seems to be doing fine. We get to see some of the old characters like Pilaf and Bulma and of course, that was nostalgic. Chi Chi is still the scary one.
Impressively, Goten can use the flying nimbus, which means that he is just as pure-hearted as his father. Dragon Ball Super Chapter 89 might focus more on Goten and we would love that.
What are Trunks and Goten doing?
We start with the two friends stopping a robbery and cleaning up the situation. They call themselves superheroes. Trunks is Saiyaman X-1 and Goten is Saiyaman X-2. They are following in the footsteps of their favorite superhero Clean God.
High school seems to be going fine for them and they are spending their free time-fighting bad guys. However, they are still kids and are bound by a lot of limitations. That said, Trunks has a genius like Bulma as his mother. He has plenty of tech support.
We might see the new transformation of these two in Dragon Ball Super 89 raw scans. What will Pilaf’s newest design be? We are excited to see it.
What is Trunks doing?
Trunks are cruising through life, checking out the newer tech with Pilaf, trying to make a good impression on Mai, and playing with Goten. As he gets two tickets to the new Cleangod movie, he runs across trouble. He has two tickets. Which means he can’t take Goten!
He wants to ask Mai out but unfortunately, trouble strikes again. Mai is busy since their Helper Bots are running into constant trouble. Someone is tampering with it. So Trunks has to solve this to free Mai. Can he get his date in Dragon Ball Super 89 English chapter? We will see.
What is wrong with the bots?
As he investigated, Trunks found out about the issue. He breaks into Dr. Gero’s lab and confronts a lot of enemies. But they are not trouble for Saiyaman X-1 and he takes the whole bunch down without breaking a sweat.
Meanwhile, Goten manages to save all the classmates trapped in the situation. The culprit is Dr. Gero and his Alpha 12 troops. After the cleanup, he retrieves a disc from the safe. We will find out about the contents in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 89 spoilers. What is the doctor planning?
