With the announcement made in May, 2021an expected the series in 2022.
To make things better, the anime of Komi Can’t Communicate is going to be released in October 2021. The is an official website already registered. At the time of the announcement, there was other stuff that was released. These were:

Things are looking good for the show. Studio OLM is the one behind the infinitely popular show, Pokemon! It also made Inazuma Eleven! The Chief Director is mu Watanabe, the man behind Space Brothers anime.
Director Kazuki Kawaoge is known for working on Beyblade Burst. Series Composer Deko Akao has worked on Noragami and Arakawa Under the Bridge.
Dragon Ball Super Season 2 and The God Of High School Season 2 are also set to be announced soon.

Talented actors from the industry are here to provide the sou Komi and her friends:
- There is Koga Aoi, playing Shouko Komi. She needs no introduction since she played Kaguya in the highly popular Kaguya Sama anime.
- Kajiwara Gakuto is here to voice Hitohito Tadano. He is the voice of Asta from Black Clover and Shinra from Fire Force. He is very talented.
- Finally we have Muraka Rie to play tritagonist Najimi Osana. She is known for being Ram in Re Zero anime.

Komi Can’t Communicate Anime is set to air in Fall 2021. We believe, since it is a slice of life, romance show, it will have like 12 episodes. We can see it going for the 24 episode range but that is less likely.
It has been produced by the manga publisher, that is Shougakukan. As of now, we do not know of other producers. But, maybe the TV Tokyo owners are funding it too since that is where it will air. The licensors are unknown as well as of this moment.
Komi-San wa, Communication Shougai Desi, or Komi Can’t Communicate, is a gag manga written by Tomohito Oda. It is published in Shougakugan’s Shonen Sunday magazine.
It started its serialization in May 2015 and took 6 years to get an anime! Currently, the series has 21 volumes released. Its popularity is apparent when we see that it has already sold more than 5 million copies!
The premise of the manga lies so. Shouko Komi becomes the school idol owing to her graceful look and icy demeanor. Turns out, s is unable to communicate with others.
Here comes Hitohito Tadano, whose sole motto is to stay out of trouble. However, sitting next to Komi makes him the class enemy.
However, this average high schooler is able to see through Komi’s problem. He decides to help Komi out in her mission to make a hundred friends. And thus begins a very interesting chain of events where these two go through everyday life, trying to fix Komi’s communication disorder.
