We have just received the spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 298. The chapter started out quite different from what we all expected. After the prison break, Horikoshi has chosen a different direction for plot. Let us get to them without further ado.
We are at the aftermath stage. This war did immense damage and for the last few chapters, we have neglected our heroes. So Horikoshi finally brings us home and assures us about the U.A Students. But in between all the chaos, there lies trouble.
A lot of posters and info have been released about My Hero Academia Season 5. We urge you to check them out – not only are they extremely cool, but also they hint towards a great adaptation.
And we already know that the plot that is being adapted is absolutely amazing. This season will be a major source of excitement for all fans.

So the spoilers are finally here for Boku no Hero Academia manga 298 and let’s not waste any more time and get started.

ReDestro’s Flashback
The chapter is titled Crumbling Sound. We get a flashback of ReDestro, back when the Heroes raided Jaku Hospital. It was ReDestro’s group who funded the League of Villains, and the League spent a whole lot on utilities. So they owe ReDestro.
ReDestro continued his monologue. He spoke about having two images or two ‘faces’. One public image – here, he’s the CEO of Detnerat. The other is the leader of the Liberation Front. Apparently, ReDestro actually became 2 people, after the war in Deika City.
Followed by this, we see ReDestro in his large form, gaining the upper hand against some villains. He realizes that they are the Public Safety Commission. He admitted to knowing the commission’s plan to expose him.
They were deliberately ordering more from him, slowly gaining information. The Commission was surprised since they did not expect ReDestro is charge with so much force. The villain claims that he wants real freedom. He says that the seed has been planted all over the place.
League of Villains
We jump to 6 hours after the raid on Tartarus. All for One was finally going to allow Shigaraki’s body to rest. So he ordered the League to protect it properly. All for One assures the league that he understands Shigaraki’s will and once the body is healed, he will make that will into a reality.
The Injured Heroes
We then move to the Hero Side. It has been two days since the war. Bakugo regains consciousness in the Central Hospital, where the best medical care is offered.
He is greeted by his classmates who are relieved to see him shouting since that is how he normally behaves. Bakugo inquires about Deku and the other fighters.
Similarly, Gran Torino and Aizawa awaken. Aizawa refuses to hear about Midnight’s demise and asks about his students instead. Present Mic stays with him. Todoroki wakes up too, his face fully bandaged. Reporters are lurking nearby, wanting to know more about the situation of Endeavor and Dabi.
Todoroki thinks back and realized Dabi’s fire is one full of hatred. In fact, he could see his old image in Dabi. He realizes that Endeavor is too shaken up to do anything about Dabi and hence, it is on him to take care of his brother. However, Todoroki’s throat is burned and he can’t speak at the moment.
Lastly, we see Bakugo trying to reach Deku. Movement is forbidden but he has resolved to go. Deku is the only one who hasn’t regained consciousness. Bakugo will kill Deku if Deku dies!!! The chapter ends with an unconscious Deku, with All Might beside him.
