The spoilers for One Piece chapter 1013 have been released. We are thrilled. After months, the war has taken a turn and things are going to be more chaotic than ever. We can’t wait for the chapter to arrive on 16 May 2021 and we are guessing you guys feel the same way about it.
Just in our last One Piece discussion, we mentioned how much faith everyone puts in Luffy. And our protagonist delivers – Luffy carries the biggest burden, he defeats the strongest. But things have taken a turn for the worse!
Oda executed this very well. He built up our trust gradually – through Momo, he was showing the strong spirit of Luffy. Then he gave the new technique and we realized that Luffy has a shot against Kaido. And then he showed both Zoro and Sanji believing that Luffy will win.
How strong is Kaido? His power level seems so damn high. How will Luffy ever defeat this beast? Kaido never had a doubt in his victory. He was simply fighting enthusiastically because after a long time, he had found an opponent who could entertain him!
With our hopes built up and our excitement peaking, suddenly it dawns on us. What happens if Luffy falls? Momo is not a proper leader yet – the Scabbards are still handling it! If Luffy falls, Kinemon’s spirits will plummet. Doesn’t that mean that the raid will fail?
One Piece Chapter 1013 Spoilers:
One Piece 1013 is titled “Anarchy in the Big Mom”. We don’t fully understand what this means. Perhaps it hints at the discord created among the homies Mama possesses.
Chapter begins with Ulti recovering from Nami’s attack. Let us be honest, Nami never had a chance to one shot Ulti. Seeing the Tobi Roppo getting up, Nami launches “Tornado Tempo” against her.
Ulti simply dodges it and prepares to defeat Nami completely. Now that Nami is not fleeing, Ulti has a proper chance to end her for good. But then again, things rarely go how we plan them.
Big Mom attacks Ulti. It is a combined attack using Napolean, Prometheus and Hera. This knocks Ulti out – she can’t stand the power of a Yonko. In a flashback, it is shown that Prometheus wanted a girlfriend, so he requested Big Mom and Mama obliged. That is how Hera was created.
Here, Zeus arrives. He is heartbroken to see that Mama has replaced him. But let’s be fair, he had it coming. He is a traitor. Zeus grovels for Mama’s forgiveness and requests her to spare his life. However, the Yonko denies.
In One Piece manga 1013 spoilers we see that after ditching Zeus, Mama proceeds to attack Nami and Usopp. With one door closed and Hera after him, Zeus flees and apologizes to Nami for ditching her. And to make up for his mistake, he protects Nami by sacrificing himself. It is a noble act on his part.
Kidd suddenly enters the scene. He launches himself at Mama using Punk Gibson. His search has been successful and he aims to defeat a Yonko. After this, the scene is switched to the rooftop.
In the rooftop, Luffy has been fighting Kaido. We see Kaido saying that the result was always set in stone. He did get excited after a long time – Luffy surely had potential and his new technique gave him a little extra time.
However, Kaido is disappointed. He says that he should not have given Luffy so much time; simply slitting Luffy’s throat and declaring victory would have been better. It would have ensured that Luffy’s bravado did not provide false hope to his allies.
Luffy has lost. At the end of the chapter, Luffy has been knocked out. He is falling from Onigashima into the sea. Act 3 has suddenly turned tragic!
Will there be a break next week?
No counting the golden week, we have reached out usual 3 chapter stretch. So, just like schedule, Oda will be taking a break next week. It is an absolutely nail biting moment in the story – Oda writes the story so well according to his breaks.
The tension is always maxed out! One Piece 1013 will be followed by a 1 week delay and the next chapter will be arriving in the last week of May, 2021.
