After the death of Muzan, the demon slayer manga had a big twist in the story. His death didn’t mark the end of all demons. He somehow managed to convert Tanjiro into a Demon and now he is probably the strongest demon ever.
The Demon slayers will have to go through a nightmarish fight again to defeat Tanjiro. Will they succeed in stopping him? Or Will this be the end of the demon slayers?

In the last Kimetsu no Yaiba chapter 202, after finding out that Tanjiro has turned into a Demon, the Demon slayers tried to take him down. This chapter begins with Nezuko saving Inosuke from Tanjiro. She holds him and talks to him in the same way Tanjiro did when she turned into a Demon. She finally understands what Tanjiro had been going through. All the pain and suffering he had to endure.
Sadly this doesn’t help and her voice doesn’t reach him. He then starts. hurting her. At the same time Inosuke and Zenitsu try to stop him. But then he releases a shockwave similar to that of Muzan. That pushes away everyone except Nezuko.
He then reveals his tentacles, but they look different from those of Muzan’s. They look like the spinal cord. Now Giyu joins the fight and saves Zenitsu. At this point they’re all desperately trying to kill Tanjiro. But there’s no way to kill him. He can’t be killed by a red sword or sunlight. Tanjiro releases another shockwave but this time nezuko puts her hand in between and gets severely injured.
Tanjiro has tasted blood so now it’s too late for him to get back into human form. Yet he still doesn’t eat Nezuko. Even though she’s right there in front of him bleeding and defenseless. Maybe it’s because he’s fighting himself. At this point only he can turn himself back and gain control.
And now Kanao finally appears. She has a syringe given to her by Kochou made from wisteria flowers. It was a syringe meant to be used on Nezuko. But now the situation has changed and Kanao has to use it on Tanjiro. So with only one eye intact she uses her final attack she uses the syringe on Tanjiro but also gets attacked in the process.

So, the spoilers have been released guys.
The cure works on Tanjiro and Kanao is still alive. After much fighting with Muzan’s blood, Tanjiro is able to regain consciousness and turns back to a human and it looks like the manga will be ending soon.

Kanao has finally appeared after so many chapters and as expected Kanao and Nezuko will play a major role in turning Tanjiro back. Kanao used the final form once again and this will cost her her other eye and she will go blind. The fact that she’s using her only eye to help Tanjiro is amazing.
Another major character that gets overlooked is Giyu. He went through hell and is still alive and he still wants to save Tanjiro even when he’s a Demon. So it would make sense story wise too that he’s the one who stops Tanjiro.
Now, about the medicine made by Kochou. It is made from wisteria flowers. Tanjiro has only recently turned into a Demon and hasn’t consumed any human flesh yet. Hence it might be possible to save him now.
Kanao got severely injured in the last page but she might not just die yet. A stab might kill a normal human but Kanao is a Demon slayer on the level of pillar won’t die from that. And if she dies now it would be underwhelming and unsatisfying. So there’s clearly more in store for us.
Also since a lot of the pillars are dead or unconscious, Urokudaki will return to fight Tanjiro.
In the last page, we see Tanjiro’s head. This might be his subconscious. He hears Nezuko’s name and finally stops. Maybe he finally got control of his body back. We’ll find out everything in Demon slayer Chapter 203 spoilers.
